All About Life released

"All About Life" is now available from CDbaby and most digital distribution sites. Here is a quick review.....Enjoy. On his fourth album release, Guy continues on down the road with 13 original songs inspired by his observations of an ever-changing world. Working again with veteran producer, Terry Carleton, we see continued growth in the composition and songwriting, not only in its musicality but also with the variety of instruments employed. Farfisa piano-organ accents and sitar riffing on “Into My Mind”, Hammond B3 solos and comping on “Not My World”, and beautiful slide guitar passages on “Stay Calm (Take It Easy)” are just a few of many examples that present listeners with a more sophisticated sonic palette that is atypical of any Billboard chart offering manufactured and broadcasted by corporate-controlled media. This project also presents the contributions of several session talents, both local and from afar. A particular treat is the understated Burney Greco, whose Gilmour-esque guitar work on “Play On” is the perfect complement to this Floydian-inspired piece. Overall, “All About Life” is a welcome addition to anyone’s digital playlist or physical album collection and a positive vote in support of local independent musicians and songwriters.
