Cheers, Guy "Madness & Metaphors", the sixth album release from Guy Agnew, continues thematically from his previous effort on "Promises and Glue" (2014). Twelve songs are presented as musical metaphors across the broad spectrum of human emotion. "What I Want" is a no-nonsense rock plea that gets to the heart of true desire. The angelic "Vision of Peace" brings reassurance and serenity. While there is no time for regret in "End of Days", you can't hurry love "Under the Sun" because finding the "Answer to My Dreams" is worth waiting for.
